Career Pathway

'I came from the fishing industry and changed to aquaculture. I started at Marlborough Mussel Company as a deckhand on a seeding/ harvesting vessel and gained experience in farm development and maintenance. I later qualified as a skipper. In my free-time I started spat checking and assessments and did hatchery work. To further my career I moved to Aroma and became the On Water Manager. My next move will be progressing to General Manager of Aquaculture.'
