NMIT Te PÅ«kenga (formerly Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology) is the closest training provider to aquaculture sites in Te Tau Ihu.
We work closely with NMIT to ensure their courses align to industry need.
The Level 3 & 4 certificates that are available through NMIT have the ability for you to study remotely while working in the industry.
The learning is online with a commitment of around 10-15 hours per week.
The Level 3 & Level 4 certificates each have a 2 week practical block course. For this block course you will need attend the campus in Nelson.
